About Nalanda
Vidyalay
Nalanda Vidyalay is a nursery to class-12 co-educational school in both Gujarati and English medium which established in 2001 with only 20 students. Now it has been blossomed with approximately 4000 students. It runs B.Ed college also by named Smt. Shushilaben P. Patel college of education.
NALANDA VIDYALAY is affiliated to the Gujarat secondary and higher secondary education board, Gandhinagar. The school’s mission student incorporates the aspirational principles of fostering the spirit of excellence by DREAM, BELIEVE, ACHIEVE all its students.
With an effective mix of nationally acclaimed curricula and methodologies in an essentially state ethos, Nalanda strives to train generations of young students to evolve into well informed and responsible global citizens.

At Nalanda Vidyalaya, the Student body is divided into four houses: Jal, Agni, Prithvi and Vayu, each representing different elements. To encourage a sense of unity and team spirit, students wear house T-shirts with black shoes. The house colors are as follows: Jal (Blue), Agni (Red), Prithvi (Green), and Vayu (Yellow). These T-shirts are worn on specific days and during various school functions.
During the investiture ceremony, heads and volunteers for each house are appointed, providing students with leadership opportunities and responsibilities. Regular house-wise assemblies and co- curricular activities are conducted. This system not only inculcates a sense of pride but also promotes collaboration among students.
